i am using 409.1 in usb called com port 4 and for the best results have the engine running to gain access to all available control modules there are some you cannot access,i have reset maff fault sensor code and open curcuit on the booster heater 2000 zetec tdi 115

Hi i have just recently bought a vag.com usb to obd2 cable and software

something i found out tonite when i was getting out of the car i accedently locked the doors before the boy had shut his door the servos activated and it was not untill he shut the door did the indicators flash.I was surprised to find that the doors were locked,guess what like kids we tried it again and it was not a fluke it worked,all those times i have waited for them all to get out and lock up not any more. 2000 1.9 TDI Zetec 115 Mk2

i had poor preformance from my 1.9 tdi mk2 2k,the power was ok up to 2000 rpm but after it was flat i unplugged the maf sensor and it was worse,so being a tight arse i took the sensor out,(oh yes fords have fitted a hex bolt with a round stud in the center good pipe grips will get around this)dipped the sensor in white spirit and with a soft brush lightly cleaned out, a few tiny bits of dirt came out, blew it dry and refitted, amazing the car has never gone so well and i have had it for nearly two years, its worth a try if you break it you gonna buy a new one anyway

Hi i'm new to the forum i have a 1.9 tdi zetec 115ps late 2000 mk2 reading thread about booster heaters not working and yes you've guessed mine has stopped too at the end of september.i have a ford diagnostic and repair disc and it includes the ford tecnitions guide how to diagnose and fix the fault this is great because i have found the thermo switch outside temperature n289 (fords words) beside the front right fog light gotten to the bit where they say disconnect this at connectoin c239 engine compartment, rear, RH side and there is a diagram fantastic! can't find any connection all the wires from various componants just disappear in to the wiring loom anyone have any ideas?
