  1. The car is a 2003. For the rear pads I undid the nipple. The fronts were changed before the backs about two weeks ago and all seemed well. It was only after changing the back pads that the problem was noticed.
  2. I have just replaced all the brake pads on my Galaxy 1.9Tdi. The brakes work but the pedal travels slowly to the floor and feels spongy. This does not happen unless the engine is running, ie servos are operating. Without the engine on the pedal is solid. The brakes have been bled, there are no visible leaks from any hoses.
  3. I fitted a tonneau, about a month after I bought my Galaxy Ghia. Lots of work involved. Cost over
  4. I've been reading these forums for three months now, since I bought a one year old Galaxy Ghia, wondering when it would happen to me. Well it happened yesterday. The panel on the climate control started flashing but it still seemed to be blowing cold air. Phoned the ford garage who booked me in today (well done for the prompt service Evans Halshaw, Brighton) Picked up the car today and freezing cold air coming out of the vents. It still has a flashing panel for 15 secs each time its turned on though. Why is this?
  5. One of the problems I have with my Galaxy is a blind spot in the mirrors because they are too small. Most cars these days seem to have an ultra convex portion at the edge of their mirror's to combat this. Can you get replacement mirror glass with this for Galaxys?
  6. Thanks very much. I'll give that company a call. I don't think I'm up to advanced car surgery just yet. It does seem a real pain that if you can't afford a brand new Galaxy and you buy used that you can't buy something that comes as an option on new models.
  7. I want to fit a luggage cover into my 2003 Tdi Ghia but have no clips to do this. How do I get hold of the parts to fit one of these? None of the covers on e-bay come with any kind of fixing kit.
