when it started playing up i changed both batteries in the key and still doing the same, it will open on the remote but you end up standing there 5 mins pressing the button before it does. pete

Hello i have a 2003 galaxy ghia which the central locking has been playing up on, it works with the key fine but not the remote, i have changed the battery and programmesd the key as the manual says and still no good. I have searched this forum and seen about water under the seat but mine is dry and it only looks like the parking sensors under there, I have no idea where the central locking unit is on the car or if it could be the key, any advise would be appreciated.
