I have, this week, had a New Auxilary heater (under near side rear passenger seat) fitted by our local main Ford dealer. This was fitted following excessive black smoke being discharged by the vehicle on cold starting. Having had the work completed, the very next day the car was still smoking excessively, exactly as it had been before the new part was fitted. Ford are now saying that have no ideas, at present, why this should be. Please could you let me know if you have any ideas?? Also, we have also recently had the Tensioner replaced following a whirring type noise coming from the engine on turning the wheel. The first tensioner did not correct the problem and a second tensioner was fitted, by Ford, and we were advised that the first was most likely faulty. The second tensioner also made the same noise, 2 months on. Ford are now suggesting that it could be the Alternator? Has anyone else experieced this problem with their Galaxy?
