Hi All the problem I have is the aux heater has been working over the past few weeks even in the warm weather but then would not shut off unless I switched the engine off (faulty sensor?) now the heater wont come on at all and I cant get vag-com to connect to the heater module, all other modules are fine just wondering what to check for? The glowplug is only just over a year old. Swifty.

Got the blades in the post yesterday morning and hooray it rained wipers worked a treat and totally silent Cheers again bigdave

Hi All I have 2000 mk2 gal, need some new wiper blades, the question I have is with all the trouble that can happen with wipers seizing can I put the flat aero type blades or should I stick to the original type. I only ask as the aero type seem to have many more points of contact with the screen and wondered if it would be to much for the motors with the extra drag. Swifty.

Ok just took the Gal out on a run, half way through I unplugged the maf,the difference was amazing it drove like a bullet. Am I to take it that the maf is knackered. The maf sensor is well over four years old thats how long Ive owned her so who knows when or ever if its been changed or the original. Thanks again Swifty.

Hi all im after a bit of advise on what to do about my VW caddy its on a 56 plate and only done 34000 miles, the gearbox has given up and although ive got a feeling its out of warranty I feel at that low mileage I should be able to get it replaced by VW. Any ideas on how I would go about this? Ive never had anything happen like this before. Thanks Swifty

Hi Steve Mine also only works with key not the fob. Just checked the manual it only explains the global closure with the keys only. Swifty.

Sounds to me like chattering of the waste gate on the turbo. Mine does it and the rs turbo I had years ago did the same thing. Swifty
