Thanks ronz. Where else would google find "Galaxy", "Engine workshop" and "glow plug" on the same page? I did exactly the same on Sunday - put a Halfords type 482 bulb in the brake light instead of a type 480. Simple mistake - same size, same fitting, and both are quoted the the Halfords bulb guide. On Monday (in the rain) my wife had to call out the RAC due to the warnings and flashing lights. As some of them were red, the RAC said it wasn't safe to drive. Thanks to your post, when the RAC man arrived she was able to point him straight to the problem. A new (correct) bulb and the problem went away. Except the battery had gone flat by then, but it is 7 years old - time for a new one me thinks. Thanks again. Bayleaf
