when rolling to a stop if i dip the clutch or put it in neutral the revs stay between 1500 and 2000 rpm until i come to a standstill then they drop to about 900 it only started doing this yesterday ive cleaned the idle thingy and no different a neighbour had a similar fault on a mondeo and it tuned out to be the vehicle speed sensor could i have the same fault or any ideas on what it could be thanks

i think i might be being a touch picky as previously had a w plate mondeo that drove faultless

hi all although my clutch works fine there is a bit of play in the clutch pedal it can be pushed down about 3/4 of an inch before it pushes the rod i dont think its slave cylinder it feels like something at the pedal is loose or needs adjusting any ideas appreciated

will try fords in the morning no doubt my wallet will be a lot lighter

spoke to them today, as long as i inform them of any changes that is fine my premium will only go up if i modify the engine which i wont be doing

ive not decided what mods to do yet new wheels and lowering are first on my list, the dvd player and screens i already have will be fitting them soon hopefully then the kids will stop moaning about boring car journeys, i get my parts from a local motor factors my work has a account with them so we get some nice discounts believe me though i dont abuse it :rolleyes:

Hi all was just wondering how hard it is to change the spark plugs on a 97 2.0 as i cant even see them they look as though they are tucked down the back any help or info would be appreciated as this is the last service item i have to change regards adam

a quick hello to everyone im adam and just got myself a p reg galaxy 2.0 ghia so far im pleased with it missus loves it and so do the kids, im considering doing a few mods to it but not sure what yet, so far ive give it a service and new exhaust and was pleasently surprised how cheap parts are. well anyway this site looks good so far and looking forward to speaking to you all
