Just to say hello, and thanks for all the invaluable advice on this forum. I bought an 03 2.8 V6 Ghia, (Ford Dealers Coalville) and after 3 days of ownership I now wonder how I ever managed without it, and put up with my P plated Vauxhall Omega! I thought the Omega, a 2.0 litre CD was nicely equipped and towed my trailer well, but the Gal Ghia (with all additional the option packs!) is fab. I know I may well have a few problems, but with the Omega they have an ever worse chequered history, so not really that fussed (yet!) With all the different advice and things to look out for that are featured on this forum, I spotted a slight dent in one jacking point, got 2 new front tyres, a new battery (80 amps! Jesus!) and some worn steering wheel control switches replaced all for free before I collected the car. MPG? When you have had an auto Omega it is actually better stats on the 2.8 V6! Looking forward to a long and hopefully rewarding ownership. If I have any probs I will be straight back here! Summer? What summer?
