Remote locking was an option on the '99 Zetec, part of a 'convenience' option which also included the rear boot area cover - so if you haven't got the cover, it's likely that you haven't got the remote locking either. HTH ;) haven't got the boot cover so maybe not the remote central locking then?? any other way of telling? as i didn't have it from new i don't know what options were added, will frauds have a record?

how do i tell if i've got an infra red or radio frequency system in my galaxy? its a 1999 V Reg 1.9tdi. only came with two keys and no remote

Same here! just bought a V reg Zetec 1.9 TDi and have only received 2 keys, no remotes? Can these be replaced? Where can you get them? Help!! :(
