Thanks, but it is beyond repair. Anyone know where I can buy the headrest cover in black leather. It looks as if the head cover is simply zipped on to the headrest, so I would just need to buy the cover, as opposed to the whole headrest unit. Reponses awaited please

Please Please Please can somone help. I managaed to tear a headrest and need to replace it. Anyone know where I can get one from. Thanks

Yea sounds like it - good job it's under warranty I think Dave had it sussed, although it could just have been a bit unlucky with the quality of the clutch.

Hi Just an update. It turns out that our clutch was faulty. The fly wheel from the clutch came loose punched a hole in our gear box and damaged the starter motor as well. We had a new clutch fitted in July so fortunately we are under warranty. Apparently all this and the resulting bits floating about in the gearbox confused the computer system hence the engine miss firing.

Yep that was the first thing we did. Although that would not explain why it was misfiring though would it? Regards Nicky

On Saturday our galaxy started miss firing, and could hear what we thought was the tappets, when ever we needed to accelerate. We then noticed that someone was flashing us to stop where they told us they could see blue flames and smoke were coming from underneath our vehicle. Hence we did not go any further and called out the AA. They did not know what the problem was so we were towed to our local ford garage They are stripping our vehicle down today and said that they will get back to us to let us know what the problem was. I was just wondering if anyone here has had a simular problem and what it could be? Regards Nicky
