  1. Thanks for getting back to me. Must admit I'm totally confused by the "wet under the seat" comment. (but it's dry !!!) The battery is only a few weeks old and is trying to start the car like a good-un !! Any other suggestions anyone ?? PLEASE
  2. Tried that already, no difference unfortunately. Thanks.
  3. Hi everyone, My first post so please be gentle with me.....LOL I have a 99 Ford Galaxy 2.3i petrol automatic. I've recently started to have starting problems with it. Basically: When I turn the key the battery tries to start the engine but it will not fire up. The red light on the drivers door flashes away like mad - possibly indicating an immobiliser fault or key reading fault perhaps ?? When the key is turned there is a clicking sound from under the dash - indicating at least one relay is operating. Up until today the car has always eventually started after what seems an age of trying. I've read on here about replacing the fuel relay #12, but the flashing red light would seem to me to rule out a fuel problem (I think !!!) I've also read about replacing relay #30, but according to my handbook I don't have a relay #30 !!! Any help to keep my money away from my local ford dealer would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. Be handy to know who the dealer is that thinks it's got a camBELT !!!!
