hi all just finised a service on my 1999 2.3 gal.was'nt to bad got parts for

hi after testing feed to motor 1 earth 1 constant feed as i have read this is correct. then found there is another constant feed which relates to the first position of the wiper stalk found the other feed for the intermitant and found the feed for the full speed which both go off when you turn of at the stalk but still leaves a second constant feed which relates to the first position of the wiper stalk even when the wipers are turned off. thanks dave

after only owning our 1999 gal 2.3 manual for 3 weeks and not knowing much about the service history thought it would be a good idea to have the timing belt changed.went to our local garage and after the mechianc inspecting the engine he said there was not a belt but a timing chain.can any one please confirm this thanks dave

hi wiper motor still constantly on after taking electrical plug off of motor discovered that there is a constant live feed going to the plug/motor. could it be that the wiper relay is at fault here? thanks dave

hi after taking wiper motor off and then module, cleaning with pcb cleaner put it all back together now wipers running constantly and will not turn off. Please help its driving me crazy... thanks dave

hi i'm new to the forum and i have read the questions and answers but cant seem to find my problem. From what i can see you guys have a wealth of knowledge and hope you can help me with my problem. Bought a ford galaxy 1999 2.3 manual ghia x 2 weeks ago very pleased to be the new owner but just have one problem at the moment, the wipers seem to have a mind of their own. The front wipers will come on as and when they want to cant turn them off they stay on for about 5 mins then turn off themselves. No water found in passenger footwell so i dont think the electrics are getting wet. Dont know what else to look for. Please can somebody help me as this is driving my wife crazy.
