Yes but step 3 doesnt happen the LED just flashes as it does all the time anyway????

The keys were dead when I bought it so I replaced the batteries and I have followed the programming instructions to the note but I cant get the car to go into the programming mode which I believe makes the drivers door LED stay on for 15 Secs so that you can reprogramme the remote central locking. The key seems to work but I cant reprogramme it to the car. I am trying to reprogramme the remote central locking key fobs.

Hi Guys I appologise if this has been covered but I have searched and failed to find the same problem, They come close but not the same. I have a 99"T" Galaxy 1.9TDI Ghia X and I have tried to reprogramme the key as discussed on another forum here but I cannot get the Galaxy to go into Programming mode?? I turn the key three times but the LED just flashes continuously. Please Help?

Yes pedal to the floor and also even if its a little faster than normal, it is only between one and two once past these gears it seems to drive ok.. Took it to my local ford dealer and they didnt have a clue asked them if changing the gear oil would help and they said "we dont get involved with that" similar reply to "computer says no"!! Would changing the oil help ?

I have a 97 P Galaxy 2.8 V6 automatic and I have just put a second hand gearbox into it. It seems to drive ok but if you accelerate a little too quickly from a standing start it seems to change into second gear with high revs and then a loud clunk. I suspect it may be the gearbox fluid level or maybe the mounting bush as stated in some other postings but I was just wondering if this might be the case PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP??

Hi, I have a 1997 Galaxy ghia X 2.8 V6 Auto and it drives 1st class. The problem is with the reverse gear. When I select reverse it engages but will only creep slowly backwards, reving the engine make little or no difference to it. I was wondering whether an oil change may cure it or is it more serious? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi All, I have a 1996 P ford Galaxy 2.8V6 Ghia X and It will engage reverse but it only creeps backwards reving the engine makes little or no difference at all. It drives forwards as it should do without any issues. Can anyone shed any light on this issue. Thanks.
