Sharavan Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I have the following ECU Controller in my Sharan TDi (2003) Controller: 038 906 019 LQ, Engine code AUY Can anyone confirm that the 4 pins to connect the cruise control are Pin 38 Black/White (engine ARZ, ATN, AUM, AUQ,AUS,AZD,AZH,AZJ,BCB) Pin 57 Red/YellowPin 75 Blue/GreyPin 76 White I have seen pins 49/51/52/55 and 66/67/68/69 quoted for other 121 pole plugs (BAD and BFQ) engine, but no confirmed list for the AUY engine or LQ mapping. Many thanks, Quote
insider Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 See http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...st&p=112370I believe the pins are 14, 44, 45 and 46 as described. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I have confirmed that the cruise control connector is not present in the steering column, so it will make connecting to the relevant ECU pins a lot harder. Good luck! Quote
Sharavan Posted September 25, 2007 Author Report Posted September 25, 2007 Insider, Many thanks for the update, it looks like we are on the same goal, please keep in touch. I to have proved the wires are not in the mk2 (but were in the mk1). But at least the Mk2 stalk is now listed in GSF at a price worth paying, , You list another group of ECU numbers, (do you gave the 038 906 019 LQ ECU) so I think a visual inspection is needed by me to see which 4 wires are either not connected at the ECU end, or to se if the T10 connector is located near the bulk head and what is attached. I have a circuit of this area for glf mk4, but nothing for the Sharan TDi (with the LQ ECU). Do you have anything to share circuit wise. so, my next steps, like yours, are 1) To see if I can locate the C/C Connector.2) See if it is wired to the ECU (in the golf 4 it is not), For the Mk4 Golf VAG sell a loom from the stalk to the 10 pin bulk head connector), but the gap between T10 and the ECU needs to be bridged by DIY.3) Enable CC in ECU (11463 in 01 Engine) Cheers, Sharavan. Smilge Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Someone recommended these people once. You might like to try them for some info. http://www.ecuexchange.biz/?t=t3 Quote
insider Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 2) See if it is wired to the ECU (in the golf 4 it is not), For the Mk4 Golf VAG sell a loom from the stalk to the 10 pin bulk head connector), but the gap between T10 and the ECU needs to be bridged by DIY.The wiring diagram I have is for the Galaxy (but should be the same for VW). Anyway, it shows the C/C connector directly connected to the ECU connector (pins 14 and 44-46), i.e. no intermediate "T10 connector located near the bulk head".So, it might be that there's a different wiring loom for cars without C/C if there are no wires to these pins in the ECU connector. Again, I haven't had a chance to check this yet but will try to do that and also check the ECU type I have. Quote
insider Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 You list another group of ECU numbers, (do you gave the 038 906 019 LQ ECU) ...The ECU I have is 038 906 019 LR which is probably just the next revision level and I doubt if it would have changed significantly. Quote
