These codes indicate details of vehicle specifications in respect of type, permissible loading weights, engine, axle ratios, body paint colour, and trim details. These are therefore useful for part procurement purposes. (Box 14) Body Colour First Digit: A - Pepper Red B - Black Magic C - Candy White D - Dragon Green E - Bright Green F - Mistral Blue F - Space Black J - Azul Bruma K - Garnet Red L - Cuirass M - Memory Red N - Medium Steel Blue P - Mica Stone R - Medium Harvest Gold S - Sky Blue T - Tornado Red U - Tourmallard Blue U - Canyon Red W - Windsor Blue Z - Blue Silver 1 - Spice Green 1 - Nantucket Grey 2 - Satin Silver 3 - Medium Carbernet Red 4 - Fleurie Red 4D - Radiant Red 5 - Medium Atlantic Blue 6 - Mica Stone 7 - Medium Charcoal Green 8 - Indigo Blue 9 - Melina Blue Second Digit: For vehicles built in Continental plants, the second digit of the paint code denotes the original model year of that colour's introduction, i.e. '0' = colour introduction in 1990 model year. For vehicles built in UK plants, the second digit of the paint code denotes the current model year, i.e. '0' = built in 1990 model year. My second box up reads FY - F = Mistral Blue or Space Black NO mention of letter Y :lol: , but my 3rd box has a letter P which relates to Mica Stone which is more probable .. Quote
