Keith Grimes Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 I have owned my N reg Mk1 Galaxy for 10 years and it has been a good reliable car. It is a 2.0L GLX manual and it has recently refused to select reverse gear, and now second gear refuses to select either. I have decided that due to its age and condition that it is not worth me spending any money on.It's condition? Apart from the gearbox problem, it is mechanically fit although the central locking only works when unlocked from the tailgate. Unfortunately most body panels have some dents and scratches as it is parked on street near three schools! Interior is getting tired. MOT until 11th March 2014, currently taxed until 31st August 2014. Four good tyres and lots of spares for anyone that has the time and inclination to repair or strip it for spares.
