I have a 2 litre duratec petrol mk3 mondeo that rattles from the engine on start up and low throttle between 2000 and 3000rpm. It seems to be coming from the pulley end of the block. So far I have replaced the map sensor, leads, plugs and coil pack. Oil level is fine. No eml showing. Guesses please? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gteuk Posted September 19, 2014 Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 Way too late for this but the Pulleys are well known to rattle on the mondeo and the cure only last for about 30,000 miles before they start rattling again.
