philsha1 Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 Hi Just brought an 02 plate 1.9 diesel Galaxy. The central locking was working ok when I picked it up (5 days ago). The rear nearside door lock has now stopped working (Although it can be operated manually). When you use the remote locking or off the key all other locks operate as they should. The rear n/s doesn't move at all. However you can hear the sound of a motor in the locking mechanism.Any ideas, I've tried searching the forums but haven't located the answer. gregers Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 hi and welcome,1st check all the wires within the rubber boot of that door,then check all doors,common problem.also look in the faqs in the technical section of the forum for other common problems that you may encounter.
