Saif Rehman Posted December 15, 2007 Report Share Posted December 15, 2007 Surely, if the engine management light is on then this indicates a fault with the running of the car which requires attention - unless you have had the problem sorted by a diy mechanic or you are trying to sell the car whilst still having the problem. :( I had a similar problem with my Vauxhall Calibra 4X4 turbo and no mater how i tried to trick the ecu the management light came back on within a few minutes driving, i eventually sorted it out with a reconditioned distributor.
