  1. try disconnecting the battery for 20 secs then reconnect I had to do this for my drivers side rear worked fine after that
  2. hi my garage are fitting a new exhaust manifold gasket next week will i need anything else for them to seal the leaking EGR pipes that come out of the manifold???
  3. found the leak the exhaust manifold gasket is leaking and so is 1 of the 4 pipe things that go back round to the other side of the engine
  4. took it to a mate at a garage and he said its a split pipe somewhere and that the engine isn't missing its just not getting the right mix of air n fuel but I cant find any split or cracked pipes how many pipes are there as I am not sure if I have checked all of them<br />
  5. all brand new plus new fuel and air filter fitted yesterday
  6. I got two coil packs from local scrappy and still the same :( off to try a air flow meter tomorrow I think
  7. hi my gal failed mot yesterday on hc levels should be max 200 mine was 3278 I have changed the airfilter,fuel filter,plugs and leads and she is still running rough sounds like it is missing when ticking over have been told it maybe the airflow meter any other ideas im stumped
  8. hi again can anyone help with my problem as I had a near miss with my gal stalling as I pulled out of a junction
  9. hi my gal is playing up it starts first time every time but sometimes 2min into the journey it splutters and go's to stall if I pump the accelerator pedal or turn the ignition off and back on it runs perfect any ideas as not good when you are pulling out of a junction when it happens ty rob
  10. on my 99 galaxy 2.3 auto got this lead off ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1497.l2649 down loaded the software they sent me its for a seat alahambra but it worked on on mine and at only£6.99 cheep as chips i hope this is helpful

  12. hi on the outside going up the side of the windscreen theres plastic trim that is held down by the wiper blade nut there is also 2 rectangle clips on the trim that slot into holes in the wing these should have rubber seals on them mine were perrished and i got water in my footwells i put silicoln sealent around the holes in the wing clipped the trim back down rebolted the wiper blade my footwells have been dry for over six months now. please let me know fixes your problem
