Hi - I'm new to this forum and need to deperate help. My 1.8 Focus Ghia is doing this. OUTSIDE THE CAR 1. Locking with the key in lock works fine 2. Locking with remotes 'bounces' locks/unlocks straight away. INSIDE THE CAR 1. Locking the drivers door inside operates the locks fine. 2. Locking from passenger side bounces the locks again 3. This is the interesting part. If you lock the drivers door from the inside, and then with the remote put the deadlocks on, you can unlock the whole car from the driver's side. It deactivates the deadlocks and unlocks the car. This cannot be done from the passenger side though. HELP...PLEASE! Thanks neil

Got car back today. Still no mot because of high emissions.

Thanks for the reply I had a after market one fitted (unipart) They said theres 4 different ones. 1 wire,2 wire,3 wire,4 wire. So there was a 4 wire on there and the a new 4 wire went back on there. Is there any way to test the lamba sensor.?

About 8 months ago. But i asked the garage to do a oil & filter as well as the mot. It's now gone to a ford dealer to see if they can find whats wrong.

My 1996 2.0 Galaxy failed tne mot on emissions. I had the cat & lamba sensor changed thinking that would send it though. But no it still has high emissions. It's a 1996 car and had a new ford engine 30,000 miles ago and this is all it failed on. Any idea what it could be ? Thanks Neil

Hi I have a N reg Galaxy and it has central locking but no remote locking. I've seen a kit for other cars which you plug in a relay and you have a remote fob and click click it works. If you can get a kit how much ?
