  1. Hello. I've used Fuchs Titan Sintofluid FE SAE 75W, as somebody mentioned that it is what VW used as OE. It is VW G 052 178 A2 certified and there aren't many out there that conform to this certification - mainly German oil brands. The main reason for changing the gear oil was difficult gear change in low temperatures. As the gearbox oil mentioned has very low viscosity it took less than 2 minutes for the whole 2.25 ltr. to enter the gearbox - I had a funnel about 1 meter above the gearbox fill hole.
  2. Hello. Last update to the anti theft bolts situation. The vendor I purchased the adaptor from replied, that he didn't have the part and returned my money. Next, I purchased security torx T70 at 1/2" and after some decreasing of the outer diameter with angle grinder was able to "press fit" (read: using hammer :-) the security torx in the anti theft bolts on the car. Eventually me and my brother were able to undo all 4 anti theft bolts. Meanwhile purchased four regular Febi Bilstein bolts - part number 17818 and will use those instead of the anti theft bolts.
  3. Hello all. After searching through internet and spare parts documentation till early morning I decided, that the part I needed is (hopefully) 7M3601139C054 (9 square grooves (splines) with center hole). I ordered the part for 25 Euros incl. shipping. That is the price for the code key only, not the bolts for the wheel. As I already have the bolts on the car I think it is a better solution to buy the key onlyfor 25 Euros, instead of the whole set for 45 Euros. I just hope I am right with the part number :-). Even if I am wrong and the key doesn't match I intend to use security torx T60 to unfasten the anti theft bolts. The other solution, proposed by my brother - he was 20 years in the tyre mount and repair industry, is to weld a suitable size nut (M19 maybe) to the anti theft bolt and undo it in this way.
  4. Thanks a lot Bigjeeze. That was all I needed to know. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks Gregers. I've just searched all the compartments (after my brother has done it yesterday) but to no avail. I just want to know whether this is original VAG anti theft bolt or an aftermarket one.
  6. Hello all. I've recently purchased a 2005 Seat Alhambra Stylance, 1.9 TDI, 130 bhp. The car is equiped with alu wheels and anti theft bolts. As you may already have guessed I can't find the tool (driver) to unlock the anti theft wheels bolts. I've searched the net and the forums, concerning Sharan, Galaxy and Alhambra but to no avail. The anti theft bolts are not your regular VW ones - as in this thread:http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4111080-Wheel-Lock-key-search-%28DIY%29. These are pictures of the anti theft bolts on my car: http://imageshack.us/a/img600/7928/31s0.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img823/9596/fwyq.jpg I've been to the Seat dealers here in Bulgaria and the person there told me:"We can unlock the bolts but we can't offer you just the unlock key (driver) you have to buy the whole set for 40 GBP""Or you can buy a regular set of bolts (not anti theft) for 25 GBP"He obviously didn't want to tell me whether they have the right unlock key or they will use brute force to open them. My question is whether someone knows what are those anti theft bolt?My only guess is that they may be the second set, according to this thread:http://forums.tdiclub.com/showpost.php?p=1939455&postcount=45The set with the square grooves. Thanks in advance and I appreciate the great forum.
