Hi all Has anyone ever converted a zetec to rear (door) electric windows, just bought a zetec mk2 as it only had 35k on the clock so was too good to miss, but would really like to have rear door elec windows, questions: Is the wiring already there? If it is is it just a block connector ? I know I will need new door cards, winder motors, front switch unit Anything else or is it too much of a ball ache to do Thanks very much Richard

I ended up buying a Conway set from towequippe , very pleased with it and it even has the vw symbols on the connectors so obviously oem stuff

Just fitted a Bosal removable that I got from Towequippe, fitted in two hrs with help from these brilliant step by step pics, thanks for posting them, just a note about the Bosal, had to drill out the chassis holes as they were a few mm out to the towbar and a couple of the retaining screws were the wrong size to fit the bumper, but i did need 100kg nose weight and the Bodal looks a great piece of kit, thanks again

Got it today and well pleased and even more so as its a 130, heard some worrying cam shaft reports on the vdub 150 1.9, it's a zetec with 35k on the clock on an 06 plate. Just need a towbar and were away

It's a zetec but really wanted a ghia but this one has 35000 miles from new on an 06 plate, too good to turn down

Probably doe to death but am looking to buy a galaxy and wondered weather to buy a real good mk 11 or get a cheap mk111, need to buy a diesel and tow a 1500kg caravan. Budget £6500 tops, what do you think Thanks Rich

Hi all is the 1.8 tdci man enough to tow a 1.5T single axle caravan, been looking for a 130 mk2 but getting a low mileage one is proving difficult, is the mk111 a better choice? thanks

Try moving forward very slightly if it feels tight a couple of times, also try putting the caravan on wet grass and then reverse get someone to watch and see if the caravan wheels are locked
